Hello!
I am delighted to be opening a hub to celebrate theatre, playwrights and all of the wonderful artists near and far in Cornwall.
As a playwright, stage manager and theatre history enthusiast, it is a dream come true to work on this small space in the historic Cornish town of Liskeard.
Adding to the thriving artistic tapestry in Cornwall and nearby Devon, I aim for the studio to provide a safe, welcoming environment for theatre makers.
A selection of theatrical memorabilia will be for sale including vintage books, musicals records and programmes.
I aim to promote wellbeing and peace within a tranquil environment to support the mental health of a diverse community.
How blessed I am to play a small part in such a rich community alongside venues such as Stuart House, the Liskerett Centre, bookshops, cafes and theatres.
We are living through strange times in our industry. To have a welcoming, peaceful space seems more timely than ever.
I will be slowly setting up at a pace which suits my fatigue. Details of opening times to be announced.
