The London Pavilion

The London Pavilion Theatre was situated at the bottom of Shaftesbury Avenue, just off Picadilly Circus in the heart of London.

The famous Charles B. Cochran presented his revues, popular in the 1920's, at this theatre. Unfortunately the London Pavilion was converted into a cinema and then later demolished to make way for a shopping centre.

Presented to the left is a 1926 programme from the production of "Black Birds" by Lew Leslie.
In it's day, the price of this programme was 6D (as can be seen at the side of the programme on the seal.)
